Frequently Asked Questions

Osprey Environmental Solutions provides environmental and reclamation services to clients across Canada, with deep experience in Alberta on legacy seismic line restoration and caribou habitat recovery for government and industry partners.

Osprey Environmental Solutions is one of the few environmental consulting firms built on a direct partnership between an Indigenous-owned company (KSL) and a technology-driven consultancy (Silvacom), meaning every project blends traditional ecological knowledge with GIS, drone, LiDAR, and GeoAI capabilities rather than treating cultural engagement as an add-on.

Osprey Environmental Solutions supports Oil & Gas, Government, Highway Construction, and Pipelines & Powerlines clients, tailoring services like linear restoration, land reclamation, and construction monitoring to each sector’s regulatory and operational needs.

Osprey is Indigenous-owned, formed in September 2025 through a partnership between Kee Tas Kee Now Sawmills Limited (owned by five First Nations) and Silvacom, meaning clients get both cultural credibility with Indigenous communities and decades of technical/regulatory expertise in one firm.

GeoAI (AI applied to satellite, drone, LiDAR, and GIS data) underpins nearly all of Osprey Environmental Solutions’ services, powering more accurate mapping, predictive monitoring, and faster, more defensible regulatory reporting across restoration, reclamation, and construction monitoring projects.

As a CCIB Certified Indigenous Business, engaging Osprey Environmental Solutions can help clients meet Indigenous procurement targets and ESG commitments while also supporting training and employment opportunities within KSL’s member Nations.

You can reach Osprey’s team directly by phone (587-686-5052) or email (info@osprey-enviro.com), or submit a project inquiry through the website’s contact form to discuss your project’s scope and timeline.
